<li>Install the program.</li>
<li>Run crack.exe, click on &#8220;Create License&#8221;; you should get &#8220;License.dat was successfully created&#8221;.</li>
<li>I&#8217;m not 100% sure, but the crack should create a folder in your C: drive, called &#8216;flexlm&#8217; with a file called &#8216;aw&#8217; inside, and that should be&hellip;</li>

You will likely do your modeling stuff in another program, then import everything in Maya 5 and export in GM format.</p>

I think they were meant to be used as boarding scenes, the same as sieges in vanilla M&amp;B. Actually I&#8217;ve seen many screenshots/videos of Caribbean! where people were fighting on these models I&#8217;m talking about.</p>

<p>However, it&#8217;s kind of an annoying process for two main reasons:</p>
<p>	M&amp;B engine supports normal maps and specular maps, while the Storm Engine doesn&#8217;t. This means we need to create them for every ship we want to convert.<br />

<p>The UV mapping was already done by the modders who created those ships; I simply apply the textures. Of course it&#8217;s possible to have 3 different hulls, all that&#8217;s needed is to modify the existing textures.<br />

<p>When making this model, I&#8217;ve been constantly concerned about the polygon/vertex count, so I&#8217;ve made many simplifications and even left out some details. Obviously a model created without restrictions on polygons/vertices (so not for a videogame) would look much better, but in the end I&#8217;m satisfied with what I created.</p>

I can attach a rope to the bottom corners of a sail, but when I do so the sail gets smaller.</p>

This time I was restarting first from Peter Blood&#8217;s mansion, but nobody was there, then again from the deck of the ship.<br />
Am I the only one experiencing this when I try to go to my ship?</p>

<p>I tried the update.zip, and ships are now shaded correctly. Congratulations for fixing another glitch! I knew you would have eventually figured out this one too.<br />
