ITEMS DISAPPEAR ON START.

Hi all,

very strange bug on starting a new profile:

– put items in inventory, save. Start this save, items gone. There is a somewhat complex workaround involving several reloads.

I`m on Win7 Home Pro 64-bits.

Anyone else seen that?

OK, I will put my creativity dept. in loitering mode.

I do not suggest several cabins, btw. But there already are cabins with several interconnected compartments, like sleeping, dining, lavatory.
Reworking them is what I was thinking about.

AFAIU if you attack a ship from a nation your country is at war with without a LoM, everybody will tag you as a pirate.

Dear devs,

would it be possible to change the cabin on state yachts to something luxurious as they are luxury VIP conveyances? There already are quite posh cabins in game that might perhaps be reused.

I fell in love with the one I took and sail around in it, but the cabin is very, very spartan.

Fame AND rep? Looks like AoP 2 if I am not mistaken and that is good. AoP 2 was not all bad by far.

On stealth calculation I wonder what makes your stealth skill increase?
I think that flying english colours as a pirate and being attacked because recognized as a limey by, say, the Dutch, should increase your stealth. Is that so?

Well,

not very intuitive as you say. Actually I see no reason to pay for neutral relations as the game is now. Better to save that cash and buy a LoM when tired of pirating.

Hi all,

started as pirate, paid up for peacing out with France. France is neutral on the nations screen, but their forts and ships still attack me. I`m also attacked by city guards. Sometimes I see a message: France has identified you as a threat. Why is that?

BTW, I fly English flag when I try dealing with France.

I cannot enter/leave any buildings, jungles and beaches on three islands tested after leaving harbour and mooring somewhere else. That applies to one profile I play. On others I had this problem sometimes but it generally disappeared after starting from an earlier save.

sometimes I cannot enter a building or leave town after mooring at Boddon`s Landing. If I moor at a Cayman beach, same thing.
Guards are not hostile, my allegiance seems not to matter either. Last time it happened I was doing Morgans mission.

A small thing abt. dark nights and dungeons. Could we have an item: miners hat(hat with candle holder)? If you have that and candles, you can equip the hat in the armour slot and get some lighting. It should also give some limited armour protection.
