I’d go for a very light design. Get rid of that big menu type bar up top. Replace w/ a smaller one. Change to a clearer font type. The spacing between lines are too large. Also try to optimize your site, its pretty heavy on resources.

The aforementioned site has a lot of different, simple UI possibilities but youd have to dig deeper to find something practical since most are, unfortunately, kinda artsy with little substance. I guess you’ll not be stylizing a lot in css though. But nonetheless theres that.

W/ all that said, I’d say it’d be best if you focused on optimizing the site’s usage of resources; use solid colors instead of a tiled background image for eg. Some words are deprecated too, like the ‘Subscribe’ at the top of this forum.
