Not exactly, it was a very strong ship, which caused the problem. This ship I took from the Spanish, where missing 2 cannons in front I tried to put on 2 more. Started the same fight and sunked it instead. This helped after a while

I know How to do this quest The quest started fine, and played fine a long time, but a long time the quest did not work at all. But after a long while it started again. I got black pearles for White Boy and my character. Quest finished !
