Well, there is an expensive workaround. I had the ship repainted and now we have the hull planked as it should be.
The problem remaining are the disgruntled sharks trapped in the bilge…

Location names missing.

Hi all,

when approaching an island first time the names of possible mooring locations do not appear above the icons top left. After mooring once, sometimes more times at one such unnamed location names start appearing.

Walk/Run automation.

If the game is set to walk for PC, run must be activated by player when combat starts.
It would be good if run was activated automatically whenever a weapon is drawn and back to walk after sheathing.
I feel kinda simple running everywhere all the time.

Sail to function does not work around Barbados, only ships show up but no shore locations.

upgraded Maelstrom today and winds blow again, no freezes either.
But it`s not possible to totally remove foliage any longer. Low foliage density however works and seems sufficient for precious stone searching.

Winds stop blowing…

After a couple of latest updates wind speed when entering 3D-sailing falls below 3 on next change and stays there no matter what. If that is by design then it is a very bad change. Battles in particular become boring.
Playing on Admiral if that matters.

after posting my freezing problem I played a session of more than 2 hrs without any frozen screens. And just for the record:

– game froze on changing cell and when I restarted there was a save from the cell I was going to…

Game stops responding,

abt. once/30 min. after latest update. Screen freezes and exit is only by task manager.
I see a slow but steady decrease in stability of the game.
Worrisome.

sailing for England I encounter 4 Spaniards. I paid off 3, they became neutral. 4-th was out of speaking range so remained hostile.
Anyway, the 3 “neutrals” continued chasing and shooting at me. My standing with Spain is neutral. B-d-y annoying if you ask me.

As of now only one passenger is shown with his destination in the logbook. Other passengers present onboard lack this info and do not show in the logbook at all.

Workaround: strip your operational cannons to hold, buy missing and install. My zabra now has 2-6-6-4 layout. None in the hold.
