  every time i try to finish the COAS questline i can’t because of a glitch where I am stuck trying to leave the city in a wall. I don’t know what causes it or how to fix it but i’m pretty sure it has something to do with the COAS quest files. I really don’t know what is happening though and I could use some advice. This glitch is specifically directed to modern knight and I would like a reply sooner than later because this glitch is incredibly frustrating.

  Which city is the glitch occuring, which quest do you mean? Do you have previous saves, prior to the quest? The engine is prone to bugs or glitches, but I didnt see one in any of the quests for years, even in GOF 1.2 there was but 2 quest bugs in the spanish main questline, but that was due to the boarding being completely broken at some point.

  It’s in the city of abandoned ships when trying to leave the Tartarus battleship converted prison to escape the city as a storm blows the entir jumble of ships away. What is supposed to happen is that I should be outside of the ship swimming through massive waves, but instead I get stuck in a wall. It’s definitely a glitch with the latest version of mk’s historical eras mod, cause I can’t fix it by reloading the save. Probably something mk overlooked during development of his latest module.c

  Have you tried preloading a savefile not just before the storm but a bit further away? Right now I would guess theres something wrong with the character placement before finishing the mission. Ive yet to do the COAS questline in abadoned ships so I will come back to you after I played through there myself.

    Tried that and it did not work. It is something that MK overlooked while developing his mod I believe. I just have to know what corrupt files are responsible for this and maybe I can fix this glitch.

  Forwarded it to MK, we`ll see if there was anything changed.
  
  Update forwarded answer of MK:
  
  Pressing f11 and then hitting Ok should reset the quest and may be a setback, but only that way one can be sure its not a glitch out of the blue.
  
  Also similar things happened once to me in another game when my download wasnt completely fine. After I redownloaded the game again and tried it on the new install (in this case just the download would do it) the issue was gone.
