  This is a topic to discuss useable and non-useable items in the game. As with the ships and the characters I plan to make items (to include my ongoing work on new items) part of the new GOF ERAs illustrated guide.
  
  With over 150 new weapons (swords/firearms/firearms combinations) and 140 new items, there is a lot to discuss.
  
  Do you have ideas for new or better items. Lets talk about that here.

  So I still plan to post some teasers here of the 16 new items I’m working on.
  
  However, my question today is, what rare and interesting items have you found?
  
  I am trying to get an idea on specific rarity of certain things.
  
  I just got the English General’s Breastplate. I was worried I had made it too rare.
  
  I have got the Italian parade cuirass several times. Several of my officers have it. So I am thinking that I might make it a little more rare.
  
  What I really want to find out though. Has anybody got the CAT?
  
  I got the cat a couple times before I released the version of ERAS you all are playing now. However, in my current game I am in late 1667 and am level 36. Yet I have still not found the cat. So I am thinking about making the cat much less rare.
  
  Here’s some shots of those cuirasses I was talking about. Please give me some opinions on this. What are your favorite items. Feedback please???

  Does the cuirasses show on the characters when you equip them?

    No just in the items interface. Some of the characters have them. That is the lowest of priorities right now. I have to make separate models with different textures for each breastplate. Its not hard to do at all, but VERY time consuming.

  I am loving everything so far. The religious items are a nice touch. My only problem is carrying around so many stat boosting items leaves me with less room to loot new items 😉
