Thanks for the report! OK so I have some questions and some ideas. I have had boarding problems in my game as well. However, if I keep fighting a bunch and get real close at the proper angle (even if it means I bump up to the ship 6 or 7 times) the boarding icon finally appears.

I also wanted to mention that if you go to your logbook and to references, there is a topic for Combat hints in game while you’re playing.
So I’m on the road and didn’t get the swordplay tutorial done yet. However I did post a couple vids to you tube that illustrate the fighting techniques I talk about above.

Wait till you see the complete forum. I drew it out on yellow legal pads months ago and its finally starting to come together. You are quite welcome. Glad to hear it Vesca! That is a really good download time for a file of that size. I had complaints about Mediafire hitting people with unwanted adds before they could download so I think this is a much better alternative.
