Same stuff that was missing in POTC Vanilla, but I’ve already done that before and know where to look/what to change. Soon it will be complete.

WOW! Fantastic Jeffrey! I will have to give it another play thru once you’re finished. Haven’t played it in a long time.
I’ve had a few setbacks myself with real world pet/dog issues and the new pirate colony in Caymen is giving me a few problems. But I think I am nearing completion. Oh and I put in a few more characters. I couldn’t help myself when I find historical people that I desperately NEED to have in the game. So 13 new characters now. I’m sorting out what ships and weapons they get at the beginning right now.

New Horizons all works. The only tidbit is the flags, but that will take some reworking of the script code that will take a little longer. The new mod in the flag back-end I recently made will make this possible without the hex-edited .dlls, but it will be a little lengthy to redo. But, everything else works in 2.8 engine and also DirectX 9. Another side-effect is that the fighting mechanics of 2.8, with the parry and such comes along for the ride, so there are apparently more fighting moves than originally, so I am told as I am not familiar with POTC other than my brief encounter with it while setting this up to work with Storm 2.8.
Done! And hmmm, did not take an army…or years to accomplish.

Hilarious! I saw the topic on PA! when it first appeared as I was pulling another all nighter to get 1.6.0 finished. It stayed up there for several hours (like 4 or 5) before YOU KNOW WHO deleted his previous comments and yours. Then he puts it back up last night after he has edited it with the link back to here deleted.
Once again he validates my points about PA! and censorship.
Did he think that the link was to the actual work itself maybe??? Like you’re going to just easily hand over that work to their drooling slathering mouths after they way they treated you. LOL
It’s like watching a freaking soap opera and all of the drama is coming from their end! Funny…

Got the labels to show islands. Wanted to do them first to make sure it was correct. Now have to do same for all the other cities/shores.
After this, I think it’s just flags, then it’s complete except for more thorough testing to find anything else missed. But I’m confident anything will constitute simple fixes. In fact, I consider this far as signifying it’s a done deal…just minor aesthetics are all that remain.

I opted for the last two items (flags and map labels) to rectify the labels as the flags will be tedious…boy was I wrong…they both suck, LOL
Labels is done and now the last is flags.
