Edit: Itch is downloading right now. Questbook is there now. And game works perfectly again!

It said that the game was already updated so I selected to manage and switch to the latest version and voilá it is working as intended, thx for the quick fix although strange to be missing that one file …

I have the same problem with the logbook. I was recording a video when it happened. I clicked the logbook and the character menu closes and I can’t open it again. I saved, restarted the game and the problem was still there in the save file. Only solution was going back to a previous save.

You are the second person to complain about the logbook. I think the Itch upload/download process screwed something up, because some email back/forth with the first person that had this problem, I found that it turned out to be a missing file, but the file exists in the source I told the Itch tool to upload; somehow the .ini file for the log book…[Read more]

I liked the new jump move in this new version that came with a fresh new bug: when the logbook is selected it instantly closes the char menu and you can’t access it anymore as you click it blinks and closes so there’s no way to access the rest of the tabs.

And before I forget, pls remove the dmg of a starting ship as it is the tutorial doesn’t make sense anymore especially for captains with big ships that pay a hell amount of money to repair what supposedly wasn’t even damaged, end of rant.

I also would like to see the storm dmg reduced because as it is in just a matter of mins you’re sunk and can’t enjoy the view or make any battles in it because if you’re unlucky and an enemy was in the range you either loses a lot of health or somehow outrun him to extract the battle, and as a side effect of this anchored ships in nearby harbours…[Read more]

I am not sure the files are consistent about adhering to the proper use for those, but they stand for the following:

Gen = Genitive case, typically meaning possessive
Dat = Dative case, indirect recipient of direct object
Acc = Accusative case, direct object of verb

When you see @, @ or similar in the quests_texts, those are “token” strings that will get replaced by the actual nation, city, ??? name. If they need to be reordered, or rearranged a different way for some languages, that becomes a problem. Because it will just seek out @ and replace with “England” or @ and replace with Port Royal, etc.

The <sNation>, @<sNation>, <sCity>, <sName> those things found in texts are referring to what? I need to change it or add another one because the way PT is written it doesn’t match the way EN is written so things will not make sense if I can’t change it.
