Well ive Done the English quest line, Port Royal is mine again.I have noticed that once every 4-5 weeks the English try to take is back..2 times so far..even after becoming neutral again and paying money.. How many times will they try to take it back?

I found something strange that is possibly a bug, an English Competitor Captain had its ship raided and captured by a pirate but when I attacked that ship this puts a price on my head in the name of England even though its old captain is dead.

What about making missions cheaper? Like adding a chance to infiltrate the pearl village as we do in enemy towns, it would be more on par with the rest of the game, so to speak a 50% chance to get in there with lvl 100 in Sneak or 33%, but make it possible to do that as we need more or less 3 to 4 licenses to do the missions on that location…[Read more]

Maybe a little of topic but one time I was lurking in the surrender code and found a description saying that a class 1 ship will never surrender and found it very interesting even tho its logical I didn’t know that so we could perhaps make some kind file with that data some sort of basics guide.

Yep. I reassigned the ship captain and found the bug. It is a recent bug that I introduced in the case of a ship commander that dies and the engine auto-assigns a new group commander. I fixed it and Maelstrom is updated on Itch. Get the newest update.

In regards to that save when I swap to the Spanish Fast Galleon or assign an officer to that ship the game crashes but if I take the cargo and/or just let it sink it remains stable

I did board the bigger ships of the fleet and sunk the little ones like the chaloupe but I dont think they would put the treasure on that ship, I checked all the trading ships with big cargo but they were almost empty with just a couple vegetables and such.

Those missions can be a little tricky. Even when, as you say, you make a profit, the other captain will get mad at you if you happen to sink another ship, without boarding it first.
