Right, I’m having a few troubles locating the final tracks I need to fully complete the music mod I’m currently working on, and I also have a few questions I need answered to aid my selection as well.
So, to start, I’m considering using some new tracks for the Inquisition – and I at first assumed that they were going to serve in an dark, oppositional role to the player (yeah, yeah, I know I’ve been playing too much Assassin’s Creed – I’m working on that, trust me). But then I realized that I haven’t ever met them in-game yet, so I don’t actually know anything for certain. So to begin this discussion, what role do the Inquisition play in the game, in relation to the player character? Good, bad, neutral? This affects the music choice, because if they’re oppositional/evil, I want to use pieces that kind of ‘throw’ that feeling into the forefront of your thoughts right rom the outset – kind of like the Imperial March does in Star Wars.
Second, the music alias has a number of files labeled ‘teno’ – and I’m not truly certain where in the game they’re used. I was assuming that they are for regular interiors (like tavern bedrooms and house interiors), but I’d like some confirmation.
Finally, can anybody recommend me some good tracks that I could use for the world map? I have some that I’m using right now, but more choices never hurts. I’m trying to create a classic swashbuckling adventure theme in this pack, so something that conveys the idea of an epic ocean voyage without being overbearing is what I want. Something like a slower-paced piece that makes you feel inspired.
Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
