Well the new version will be out soon anyway. What you are talking about happens to most people from time to time. I recommend that you simply delete your options file in the game folder. Its the whole game and the mod packed into the download. Extract it and play it. Again theres no torrent file or other downloadable source except the place MK1 uploaded it to. I hope you manage to download it somehow despite your limitations, its a grandal mod indeed.

MK and I have yet to play through ascold questline.
I found a mismatched character in the pearl fishing village earlier this month. As soon as im out of russia I will message MK to have a look into that character.

Have you tried preloading a savefile not just before the storm but a bit further away? Right now I would guess theres something wrong with the character placement before finishing the mission. Ive yet to do the COAS questline in abadoned ships so I will come back to you after I played through there myself.
