OK, So I just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing some amazing things with water.
Unfortunately, the download you just got has some leftovers of our experimentation still present. I will give you one file which will fix some stuff and Jeffrey is loading some other stuff that will bring water back to normal (BETTER THAN NORMAL!) settings.
Notice that there is now sea-foam at sea! Jeffrey has been continuing to push the envelop of what the engine and DX9 can support on realistic water. He has gone so far as to look at how more advanced simulations treat water and has even been working on importing new algorithms for water which will bring us up en-par with DX 11 and Unity based oceans.
Here is an example for you of what is possible – and this is without translucence or foam added.
So you may have noticed that we now have waves in harbors instead of them being as flat as a placid lake. However, we tweaked the settings too high for some places and the docks are awash.
