In other news…the code just got a major overhaul for asynchronous log file writes, memory efficiency, save file write speed/fixes, and a major stability improvement; that last bit was thanks to a save sent me by chris gardner that led me to an original, long-standing engine bug that led to all sorts of problems in rain, AI balls, particles, masts, strings…just about everywhere. I’ll get it out soon, I hope. Still working on some stuff.
In other news, I will unfortunately not be able to participate in the forums much, since my internet access is quite limited now, and other things in life are getting in the way of time to spend on these forums. I’m also taking a bit of a rest from GOF until the next update arrives, and am using it to make some progress in the rest of the games I have in my collection, which have been rather neglected since I first discovered GOF. Glad to hear about all of your progress, though, and looking forward to seeing it in action!
